Greeters' Ministry

The Greeters Ministry is extremely important to the church. Even more so, it is critical for any visitor seeking a welcoming enviornment in which they and their family can comfortably come to know and love Jesus Christ. Our greeters make every effort to speak to each & eveny person,  young & old, as they enter the church on Sunday mornings. As we are all members of the Body of Christ, it is vital that everyone feel welcome, important and special. We strive to present a loving and genuine environment in which to come and worship.

Our greeters are assigned to a team that greets at either the 8:30 a.m. service or the 10:30 a.m. service, whichever they usually like to attend. Presently, the teams are rotating once a month. Each team already has a "team lead" that serves to organize all greeting responsibilities on their scheduled Sunday. Some of the responsibilities include, opening entrance doors for attendees, handing out the worship folder and/or pencils, monitoring the greeter's table to chat with 1st time visitors, collecting the offering, answering questions about the facility to newcomers.

Please consider our Greeter's Ministry and you are welcome to give it a trial run - no pressure!  For more information about this ministry, contact Cindy Stillwaggon (412-0677).
